Walt Brown, Jr., is the Founder, CEO and Designated Broker of Diversified Partners, LLC, a real estate brokerage and development company based in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Walt began his career in commercial real estate in California in 1990. Walt focused on learning and understanding the real estate business while creating valuable relationships through his positions with Terranomics Retail Services (San Francisco & Newport Beach) and then Mahler & Company (Beverly Hills). In 1992, Walt decided to move from California to Arizona and further expand his real estate knowledge and contact base as a commercial agent at Core-Jackson, Oncor International (Phoenix). In 1996, Walt founded Diversified Partners as a full service commercial real estate brokerage company. Over the years, Walt’s passion, executive oversight and “big picture” mentality have contributed to Diversified Partners evolving into one of the leading Developers and Brokerage firms in Arizona.

Walt’s significant experience in all aspects of the commercial real estate industry for the last nineteen years has led to a wide range of successes. Together with past and present partners, he has leased, sold, and/or developed more than 5,000 commercial properties and more than 12 million square feet of retail properties located throughout the entire country. From this he has established quality and long lasting relationships with national credit tenants such as L.A. Fitness, WalMart, and Home Depot, banks and financial institutions, public/private REIT’s, and numerous major brokerage firms across the United States. The respect Walt has gained from his peers is the reason why Diversified Partners has been hand-picked to represent the national expansion for numerous entities, relocation and/or liquidation for their non-productive assets. His business ethics and personable demeanor have propelled him in the commercial real estate field to an all time career height.

In addition to his successful professional career, Walt Brown is a devoted father to his nine (9) year old son, Wally III. Family is Walt’s number one priority and he makes sure to set aside time for his son and his brothers and sisters. These strong family values are embedded in all facets of Diversified’s business.

Walt has an unmatched passion in dedicating time and contributing monetarily to a variety of charitable organizations, including Home Base Youth, Fresh Start, Labors Community, and Phoenix Childre’s Hospital. In 2008, City of Hope honored Walt with the Spirit of Life Award for his ongoing dedication and commitment to help City of Hope advance science and improve treatments for people everywhere who face a life-threatening disease.

Walt was a collegiate football athlete while at the University of New Mexico and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in 1985.

Tim has eighteen years in the commercial real estate brokerage and development field. He is a Principal Partner at Diversified Partners, a Scottsdale, AZ based retail development company that specializes in retail development throughout the United States.

Tim started his real estate career in the late 1980’s and moved to Los Angeles during one of the most difficult economic environments Southern California had even seen. Determined to succeed, utilizing his skill sets and work ethic, he “learned the business” when most others were bailing out. At CBM (the property management and leasing affiliate of Los Angeles based LaMancha Development), Tim was named 1990 Rookie of Year, and then in 1991, Employee of Year. He was quickly promoted to Director of Real Estate for the San Diego Regional office, a position he held until 1995, before moving to Arizona. In Arizona, Tim held the title of Minority Partner at Retail Brokers, Inc. (RBI) from 1995 to 2000 and earned Top Producer and Employee of the Year honors in 1996.

Over his real estate career, Tim has developed more than six million square feet of commercial real estate ranging from single tenant buildings to regional retail lifestyle centers. The company’s resumé includes ten Super Walmart anchored shopping centers, two Home Depots, a Super Target anchored shopping center, over fifteen LA Fitness anchored developments, and numerous other retail projects throughout Arizona and the United States. Tim has participated in the brokerage, sale or purchase of over $700M in commercial real estate throughout the United States, highlighted by the sale of the Diversified Partners developments San Tan Gateway in 2006, for $62M and Superstition Gateway in 2008 for $114M.

Tim’s vast relationships within the commercial real estate community include: national retail tenants, publicly traded banks and financial institutions, public/private REIT’s, major brokerage firms across the United States, government relationships at the State and City levels in Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina.

Tim’s track record of success and unparalleled work ethic have garnered him respect amongst his peers in the commercial real estate field. He has been selected by International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) to represent the retail development community on numerous panels at industry programs and seminars. Socially he enjoys pursuing his love of family, charitable endeavors, and a passion for motor sports. Tim’s motor sports endeavors include car sponsorship in the Indy 500, NASCAR Busch series, and SCORE Off-Road truck series. He has competed and finished the Tecate BAJA 1000 off road race in Baja, Mexico. Tim is married to Jackie Sloan Dollander of Paradise Valley, AZ, and they are raising three daughters. He is a graduate of St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, MN (BS – Finance and BA – Computer Science ’88).

Chris oversees all real estate development and construction as well as financing projects. He has financed numerous projects in excess of half a billion dollars in transactions. Fourteen years in the field.
